5/6 grade boys CYO practice will be in the old gym Sunday 11/22/09 1-3.

Be sure to come to Ottawa on Sunday, November 29th for the 2:00pm Holiday Parade. Come out to support your friends & classmates in the Wildcat Marching Band as we welcome the holiday season to Putnam County!

The Yearbook staff is currently taking orders for copies of the 2009-2010 yearbook. Order forms for high school students are located in Mrs. Schnipke's english room. Order forms for elementary and middle school students are being sent home today with students. Payments should be made payable to Miller City Yearbook and are due at the time of ordering. The book will be all color and the price is $42.00. Icons and personalization can be added for additional costs. If you would like to order a clear cover, the cost is $3.00 each. This option is not listed on the order form, so please note it on the form, if ordering one. All orders are due by December 18th. We are not guaranteed over-runs of the book, so please order yours now, to be sure you get one. See Mrs. Ali Verhoff with any questions you may have. Thank you!

Attention Quiz Bowl Members: There will be a mandatory practice on Tuesday, November 24th, at 7 A.M., in the media center. Please be on time. A list should be posted by the end of the day on Tuesday with chosen participants. Bring something to write with to practice on Tuesday. See Mrs. Schinpke or Mrs. Verhoff if you have questions.

Financial Aid meeting for Senior parents is Monday, November 30th @7:00P.M. in the Media Center classroom.

There is a sign up in the office for anyone interested in weight training. this merely shows that you are interested and does not bind you to any contract. The groups of athletes that should strongly consider this at this time would be athletes that are not involved in winter sports, but participate in the spring or fall season. If you would like to join after the winter sports season is completed you should still sign up now. The more people that join the program the less it costs! Pleaase sign up by Tuesday, November 24. A meeting will be held after Thanksgiving to get things started.

Sophomores interested in attending the Millstream Career Center during the 2010/2011 school year need to stop in the Guidance Office this week. Millstream will be hosting a visitation day for students in Grade 10 on December 3rd.

Juniors will be attending a career program on Dec. 11 @ Ohio State/Lima

St Ritas Medical Center scholarship applicatins are available for Seniors planning to major in a health field. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

High School singers interested in singing at Solo and Ensemble Contest, please see Mrs. Keeler.

The Miller City Music Boosters are selling holiday poinsettias until Dec. 2. 6" poinsettia pots are $10 each, available in red, pink, or white flowers. 7.5" pots are $15 each and are only available in red flowers. Pick up is Dec. 11. See a band or choir member today to order your holiday poinsettias!

The Junior class officers will meet in Miss Richardson's room during intervention on Tuesday, December 1.
